Well..the bad news is that that's my leg right there.
The good news is that I survived my knee surgery.
The best news is that I am now being taken care of by two of the most handsome nurses in the world (my husband and my baby.)
But one of them keeps stealing my crutches...I won't name any names...

um...ouch
ReplyDeleteGlad you have a crack medical team on your side :)
Thanks! They are pretty darn good.
DeleteIs your new knee bionic? If so, I can't wait to see you run, jump, fight crime, etc...
ReplyDeleteDarn it! If only I'd posted about having surgery before having surgery, I could have asked them to make it bionic...
DeleteWhat a waste of a surgery, right?
Do you have a bell you can ring when you want/need something?
ReplyDeleteI hope you heal up well.
My bell privileges were revoked...lol. I did have to resort to calling my husband's cell phone in the middle of the night one night because he wasn't hearing me calling out to him.
DeleteWow, sorry to hear you got hurt Lisa, at least you have two incredibly loving, awesome people to look after you. Here's hoping you get better as quickly as possible.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm already feeling much better. Amazing the difference a week can make.
DeleteYowza. Glad the surgery is behind you and hope you're back on your feet soon!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a relief to have the surgery behind me!
DeleteMama Spags! What happened? Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm not even sure how I hurt my knee...it's been bothering me for months. Turns out I'd torn my meniscus. But, things should only get better from here.
DeleteOh My Gosh!
ReplyDeleteI hope you heal quickly.
I love that you have TWO handsome nurses!!
:)
My men made great nurses! I'm pretty sure that the kisses from my toddler made the healing go much faster.
DeleteLisa! What the heck? Are you alright? Hope your in home care treats you right! Just remind them that you will withhold snacks if they don't! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you heal quickly!!
Haha! Such a good threat. I will remember that for the future.
DeleteI'm up and about quite a bit now, so it seems I'm on the downhill side of this recovery (I hope).
Ouch! My sister had that done and she moves better now than she has in a long time.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon.
